Maiyo is an Assault class Pixie in Master of Eternity. Maiyo, along with her sister Naiz, are natives of the Alliance Planet Cibus. According to Kanel, Cibus is the world that most resembles the goal of the Alliance, a functioning society where Humans and Pixies live together harmoniously. When the Empire invades Cibus, their defense systems mysteriously fails, allowing the Empire to conquer most of the planet when the Asgard arrives. Maiyo organizes a guerilla team to fight off the Imperial invaders, but is almost overwhelmed by the Imperial Forces when the Asgard Captain arrives with His squadron of Pixies.

They manage to beat back the invasion, but Maiyo is nearly captured by the Empire when her friend Ash is coerced into broadcasting a phony distress signal to lure Maiyo into a trap. However, the Asgard Pixies manage to stop the Imperials from gaining the upper hand and rescue the people at Wind Tree Base. Although the Empire Retreats with many captured Cibans, including Ash, Naiz and Maiyo are saved and join the Asgard Crew.

(Note: Although the story line indicates that both Naiz and Maiyo join after this operation, Maiyo is the only one who is added, as Naiz is most likely already part of the Ship's crew, having been unlocked upon completion of the Taurus Temple.)

Pros & Cons

Pros: Great stats, boss damage reduction skill (good for boss fights, certain simulator stages, and guardian encounters), DEF up skill, good awakening skill.

Cons: No sustain, skill 1 is useless, awakening skill targeting is very strange.
